I think it is time for a refresh. I just read what has been here for a long time (see below). My sentiments are similar, but I feel a softer tone is appropriate.
I write here to help others learn. I have no other intent or interest. The development of society is more and more impacted by technology and the speed of communication. We are more dependent on global news and the access to information than we have ever been. It drives opportunity and risk from Nation State actors, corporations, criminals, individuals and the technology development community. If we are to be a part of this evolution as an active participant, then we must pursue knowledge and learning through research. My goal, is to share the research I do. Even at 70 years of age, my thirst and hunger for knowledge has not abated, and my desire to share it is equally important to me.

So why am I writing and posting my thoughts here?
Because I believe the Blockchain, Bitcoin and Crypto sector presents a dramatic change in the evolution of the Internet. The ability to engage in financial transactions on a peer-to-peer basis without the need of a financial middleman will dramatically impact the lives of every citizen of the world. Empowerment to actively manage your assets, whether financial assets, personal assets, or social engagement assets, advances the democratization of individual choice. It is through this new found ability through blockchain platforms that power is to some extent returned to the individual vs politicians and corporate entities.
My role is to educate, to share my discoveries with those that take the time to read the information I will post here. It is through education that we will build a better world.
